Truly unique history is opened in Pharma Riace name. This history is about discovery of ancient Greek sculptures of soldiers from Riace, who are known nowadays all over the world. The history had started from August,16 of 1972, when Stefano Mariottini, pharmaceutist from Rome, was keen on underwater hunt and he was swimming underwater in small town not far from Riace in Italy. He saw human hand in the sand at a depth of ten metres. He thought, that he had found drowned man and dived at the bottom. But instead of this he discovered sanded statues of bronze. Nowadays this ancient Greek statutes of bronze with growth of 2 metres are kept in National archaeological museum of Great Greece, in Reggio di Calabria in South Italy. They create feeling of possible, but unique power. It is one of few works of ancient Greek art of V century B.C., which reached us in such good state.
